Sovrana

Birra Sovrana was born from the union of our Dark Strong Ale Giana with barrel wood used for the aging of the Italian Brandy Villa Zarri.

Sovrana is an elegant and sumptuous beer, which comes in a mahogany colour in the glass. The aroma is complex and notes of ripe fruit, wood, brandy and caramel are perceived.

On the palate it is soft and intriguing; on the finish there are nuances of toasted dried fruit and a slight honey.

With a rich and satisfying drink, Sovrana is ideal as an after meal or combined with chocolate desserts: a beer particularly suitable for aging.
